M/S Luna The Ship
On board
M/S Luna carries 52 cabins across five decks, all of them facing the river. She was stripped back and rebuilt in 2026.
On board
Sun Deck
Open bow to stern, half of it shaded. A freshwater pool rebuilt in the 2026 refit, loungers on both sides, low tables under the awning and a bar that opens at eleven. This is where the temples go past.
Upper Deck
Windows on three sides, deep seating, and the mirrored bar at the far end. Afternoon tea, the evening briefing before each site, and a Nubian night once a sailing.
Main Deck
The dining room seats every guest at once, so nobody eats at half past nine. Hardwood marquetry to the ceiling, and above it a stained-glass canopy that throws colour across the tables at midday. Open buffet at breakfast and lunch, a set menu with three choices at dinner.
Lower Deck
Staffed around the clock, and the gangway is ten steps from the desk. Safe boxes, same-day laundry, currency exchange and a small boutique. Every excursion leaves from here with your guide — never from a meeting point on land.
